Interesting facts:
S Watson and Mr. Smith shared a small house on Milwaukee’s west side. They took all the old 4 track tapes and put this together. The guy who made the tapes for us was some super NRA dude who kept quoting the constitution to us. We had no car and 30 miles back to the city from the crazy tape guy’s place but lo and behold, in the middle of nowhere, a friend of the Ps pulls up and gives us a lift back. Needless to say, we celebrated.
This album features some of our earliest recordings and features long time friends. If you are a real head, you will also remember our DJ at the time, Toxic T, who is featured on a couple of these tracks. Much love to Tox, who toured as a DJ for greats like the Ghetto Boys.
Also, of note are our friends Chuck (guitar) and Andy Neesley (trumpet) who made an appearance on the last track of the album. A kick ass instrumental. Thanks guys! Also, a good chunk of this album was recorded in Watson’s mom’s basement so some of his sister’s friends also appear on the album. What up Em-Dog?!?!
